Two GREP styles you have to know

- [Instructor] GREP styles are one of my favorite features in InDesign, but far too few people use them, so I want to show you two really easy things that you can do with GREP styles, and maybe you'll get inspired and try them out, okay. Now GREP styles are a way to format text inside a paragraph automatically based on some kind of text pattern. So you need two things, some text formatting, which is saved in a character style, and a pattern, which is written in what's called a GREP expression. Now I see two formatting problems on this sample page that I want to fix. First, I don't like the amount of space before and after these dashes. For example, these longer dashes, called M dashes, or the medium sized dashes, called N dashes, between those numbers, and in many fonts, there just isn't quite enough space, in my opinion.
