Update the same text across multiple layouts at once
- [Instructor] A question I get a lot is, is there a way to link to a bit of text so that I can just edit that one source file? And then every other document that had imported that text will immediately update kind of like how it works with images? Oh, there's actually a number of solutions to that. Some of them involving some expense and a learning curve like XML or catalog plugins and so on. But in this video, I want to show you a couple of ways that you can do what you want to update the same bit of text in a bunch of different documents quickly in two different ways that don't require any extra expense and not a big learning curve. Okay. So the first one actually has been around forever and I just explained it to somebody and they were amazed that you could do this. So here's an example.
