- [Instructor] You're going to discover that you have very limited editing capabilities in Acrobat especially when it comes to texts which strangely is what you usually need to fix. Your best bet is to go back to the originating application make the changes there, generate a new PDF and then go on with your life. But you don't always have that option. Maybe you don't have the originating application or whoever created is out of town, you can't get ahold of them. So you have to try to fix this yourself. So here there's a typo for tot, that should be four top. So I'm going to click on edit PDF and it allows me to select the text. That's great, I'll just type the correct word, top. Ooh, that doesn't look right, does it? No, and there's a little banner that says the original font isn't available or can't be used in editing so Acrobat's going to fake it by using Minion Pro.
