- [Instructor] Maybe we've all been there before. Someone sends you their design, ready for print, 300 ppi, CMYK colors, the only problem is, they built it in Photoshop. And as you know, all placed PSD files in InDesign are considered rasterized images, which means that we'll lose the vector resolution of text and shapes. But, don't worry, you don't have to recreate all of this from scratch in InDesign, especially when you're dealing with a tight deadline. Let me show you how you can do this. Here I'm inside of Adobe InDesign, and I'm currently awaiting this ad here at the bottom of the screen, which I've sent to a local freelancer. Now, that person has sent me a file back. Again, the only problem is, this person built it inside of Adobe Photoshop. Now, resolution-wise, we're good.
