- [Instructor] Published online documents look great on tablets like an iPad. They also look good on phones too. But remember, they're not responsive documents, so if your document has a lot of text it can be hard to read on a phone. The navigation and interaction with the document are a little bit different on an iPad or a phone. So I want to show you how it works on an iPad, which is similar to an iPhone, but bigger, so your viewers are more likely to use this tablet. First of all, when it comes to navigation, if I tap the screen I get the same direction arrows that I do when viewing in a desktop browser. I can tap the arrows to go back and forth from page to page. But, just as you might expect, instead, I can swipe also swipe my screen and go from page to page that way. A very natural gesture on a tablet. If I tap the screen I do have thumbnails just like in a desktop browser, so I can use thumbnails to navigate from page to page as well.
