- [Announcer] Illustrator offers you a wide variety of interesting things you can do to objects called live effect. And the reason they're called live effects is that they don't really change the artwork. They just change the way the artwork looks. It's almost an illusion. I'll show you what I mean. I'll select this logo and then go up to effect, distort and transform, and choose pucker and bloat. Make sure that preview is checked and then play with the sliders. Bloat makes it sort of fluff up into a flower like shape, and pucker makes it all angular and pointy. I kind of like bloat for this I think. Now click okay, and with it's still selected I think you see sort of a ghost of the original shape. I'll de-select go back to view and choose outline and there it is. You can see the underlying artwork is not changed. When I go back to view and preview, there it's all bloated. Now, if I wanted to edit say one little…
