The danger (and power) of unnamed colors

- [Instructor] Some people spec all of their colors far ahead of ever applying them in their document. Others like working more interactively, playing with colors as they lay out a page and you can work either way in InDesign. But if you're in the play as you go corner, you're probably going to like using the Color panel and you can find that by going to the Window menu, choosing Color and then choosing Color again. Up comes the Color panel here. Now let's use this Color panel to apply a color to this frame over here. So I'll select it on my page. But before I do anything in the panel, go to the Color panel menu in the upper right corner and choose a color mode. For example, you'll probably choose HSB or RGB, if you're creating a document for onscreen viewing. HSB is technically just another way of creating an RGB color. But in this case, because this is a print document, I'm going to choose CMYK. Then you could type in…
