The magic of the Option key

- [Instructor] Most people know the value of the Alt or Option key when it comes to duplicating objects on a page, but the Alt Option key when used for a number of different things will offer more choices than what is seemingly available. Let's take a quick look at how this unassuming key can make things so much better. To get started, I'm going to show you how we can duplicate an object. So, with any object selected, if you hold down Alt or Option your cursor changes to a double arrow and if you simply drag that object to a new location, you're going to simply make a copy. So pretty cool. Now, what we can also do is when you're editing text, especially when you're zoomed in on that text, you can hold down the Option key and your hand tool will activate so that you can move your document to a different area to focus on a different section.
