The purpose of your logo

- [Instructor] So what's the purpose of your logo? A logo is an important part, perhaps the most important part of a company's brand identity. And a strong brand identity is essential for building a reputation, establishing a connection, and building trust with your customers. Your logo establishes instant brand recognition and visually conveys what the company stands for. It's legacy, ethos, ambition, and values. Among the many things that make up a brand are, the logo, the color scheme, the mission statement of the company, the use of typography, the writing tone set in social media posts and all written communication, and the nature of products and services offered. So it's important to know that a logo and a brand are not the same thing. A logo is a part of the brand and it's purpose is to identify the brand. The logo represents what the company stands for.
