A word about tools
- The prototype is about the design and the tools help you get the answers you need. There is no all-encompassing perfect tool for prototyping. As you work through the design process and iteration, you might start with a sketch, and as a design becomes more clear, and the fidelity increases, you might end up in a more robust tool. You can prototype in just about any tool. Sometimes you just have to be scrappy and work with what you have, and you may not have the time to learn a new tool. Some of the more robust tools, such as Axure, have a steeper learning curve, so you'll have to determine whether you have the time to experiment with something new, or stick with a tool you're already comfortable with. In Axule iterative environments, the design will be fluidly evolving, as will your prototype. Remain focused on the design and the feedback, and don't worry too much about the tool you're using.
