Adding Civil 3D data and syncing changes
- [Instructor] Next up, Dave also wants to bring in an AutoDesk Civil 3D drawing. So we're going to hit add and again we're going to be in the BIM 360 account, the Sharkson account, Fort Worth Project, Fort Worth Project Files, CAD data, so I'm going to go back there, you can see all of the data that Dave has available to him. Let's click CAD data and bring in the site base DWG. Once it's transferred and connected to the data source, we can see that there's a number of data sources within the drawing that we can include. Now let's just take roads and site based GIS, so we'll uncheck the boxes for AutoDesk InfraWorks existing ground and existing transportation. Let's hit okay, and then we'll add those data sources because it is a Civil 3D drawing it knows that the roads are going to become roads and the site base is going to become a terrain.
