Analyzing a watershed, part 1

- Before we get started on analyzing a watershed, if you are using the data that comes with this particular course, the Lynda Drainage Design Model, then what I'd like you to do is hit your InfraWorks button and choose the Data Sources tab. Things brings up the data sources for all of the information that we have in this model. And one thing that you should remember, is whenever you do any type of watershed analysis, it is going to be added to Streams, so you can see over here that it gives you the date and time at which the analysis was done. It gives you Streams, and it gives you Watershed. And the reason that I bring this up before we start is that if you are practicing doing it over and over again, or you're doing an iterative analysis, then what's going to happen is you're going to end up with multiple stream sets and multiple watersheds here. So that could give you some wonky results when you're looking at things that overlap. So you might be getting the values for an…
