Applying style zones
- As a designer, you're often required to change the geometry or configuration of a road at certain locations. InfraWorks style zones make this easy to do without interrupting the continuity of the design. Let's try out the style zone functionality to see how this works. I've opened the Lynda Road Model, and I've chosen the style zone proposal. I'll make a copy of that now, and I'll call it My Style Zone. I'll click OK, and then I'll choose the Lynda Road bookmark, which will give me a 3D perspective view of the road. The area I'm interested in is right here. In fact, I'll zoom in a bit, and orbit the model just a bit to see it from the side, and you can see we've got a pretty high fill here. Probably a good application for a bridge. We even have a local road that passes through this area that makes an even better case for a bridge. So how do we do this?
