Creating design roads manually

As you are about to see, creating roads using the tools provided in the roadway module is extremely easy. Let's take a look at the steps involved in creating your first design road in InfraWorks. I've opened the Lynda Road model, and I've selected the create roads proposal. Before I go any further, I want to make a copy of that proposal, so I'll click the proposal drop-down and click "Create new proposal..." and I'll call this "My_Create_Roads." And what I've done here is made a copy of the proposal, so if things go in a way that I don't really like, I can always fall back to the original and start over. One thing to point out about InfraWorks, there is no save command. It saves as you go. Now you can undo if you're not too far into the exercise, but if you get pretty far along, and you want to roll back a good long ways, there's no way to close the file without saving.
