Creating a feature layer

- We are back in John's My Content page, so along the top you choose Content. It is My Content. We are logged in as John, User 2. We can see all the content that John has created, and what we're going to do next is we're going to look at field data collection. Now this is an area of data management where mistakes can creep in, so in this exercise, we're going to get John to create some layers. We'll add those to our map, and then we'll install the Field Collection app, and collect some data in the field. Head up to Create, on the My Content tab, and click Create, Feature Layer. Now there's a number of different ways that you can create a feature layer. You can create one from an existing layer. You can create one from a URL. We are going to create one from an Esri template, so scroll down. Make sure that you've chosen the From Template tab. Scroll down and choose Water Utilities. Next choose Inlet…
