Creating a material style

- Being able to create your own styles opens up a whole new world in InfraWorks. Let's take a look at how to create one of the most fundamental styles, a material style. I've opened the Ch 05 Hotel Lynda model and I've selected the material style proposal. I'll also choose the Hotel SE Iso bookmark. Next, I'll open the style palette by expanding the InfraWorks toolbar, clicking the Manage icon, and then clicking Style Palette. I'll click the Material tab and if you've completed the previous video, then you'll have a material catalog named Asphalt. In fact, so we can see this a little better, go on and click the icon here and drag the slider down to show an icon list view of my catalogs. So, again, if you completed the previous video, you'll see a catalog simply named Asphalt and you can work within that one. If not, you can open Asphalt_complete, and there you'll see a material called Dark_Asphalt_Complete, which hasn't yet been configured. That's the one I'll open. I'll click the…
