Defining intersections

- So far we've looked at how we can take a component road and actually design a roadway within InfraWorks. We've worked with some of the grading controls with that component road, but let's see how we can better control the intersections with component roads in this exercise. We're going to make sure we're in the intersections proposal, if not, make sure you select the intersections proposal. And then identify where we're working by coming to our bookmarks and selecting the subdivision start bookmark. Now as we look at these intersections, we really need to tie in a lot cleaner, we want control over the curb returns, and we're going to add a right turn lane, we may even add a roundabout. So to do all that, we need to go from one component road to another component road. Currently, this is not a component road, this is a conceptual road, and honestly, we didn't draw this, we brought it in from the data that we used as our existing data, whether it was model builder, or the GIS data we…
