Extrude a bridge pier in Inventor
- [Instructor] We created our 2D sketch. So we can see here that we have sketch one. And if we most over it within our hierarchy, on the left-hand side, we can see all of the things that are associated with that. So what we want to do now is we want to extrude it. Without going into editing or anything like that, just hit Extrude, and it's going to color our sketch in. That's the input geometry. So, if I hold down my middle most button and my Shift key, I can orbit around so that I can see just like we did with the tunnel when we cut out the section, we have this extrusion behavior. So we can see here we can pull it out and it changes over here. So there's two things we have to do with the behavior over here. We have to make sure that it's symmetric. We want it to basically extrude from a central point in the same way on either side. So just make sure that you choose the symmetric and then you could type in a distance…
