- [Instructor] One of the benefits of being able to connect to and use GIS data directly is the ability to edit that data and send it back to ArcGIS online. Our user John wants to mark some buildings for deletion within the project area and he may want to change some attributes or the geometry of some existing objects. Now to do this, he needs an ArcGIS online role that is either a user, publisher, data editor or administrator. He cannot just be a viewer, but we know he's okay because when Jane set up the organization, she made John a publisher. So he has the correct permissions to do this. I'm going to switch off the theme. By the way, just follow along here. You don't have to do any steps here. This is just basically a good-to-know kind of video. I've switched off the theme, and I've closed the theme window. Now John can hit an existing building, and then hit delete. It will be deleted from the InfraWorks model.…
