Home dashboard

- [Narrator] When you first open InfraWorks the first thing you'll see is the actual InfraWorks Home. Which sometimes I like to call it the Home dashboard. Through here, you'll see the most recent models you've actually opened. Models are available to be downloaded that came with the software, that are free. For example they are at the bottom here, you'll notice that there's two models that actually came with InfraWorks. You can see the icons here that's actually available as a sample model for you to download. Each model has a different icon at the bottom right hand corner. This one was actually a model created by Model Builder and this is the icon representing the model is available to be downloaded. That little icon for Home represents it's actually a local copies not on the cloud. There's a helpful Autodesk link provides access to the different types of symbols for the different types of models. So if we access that file now, as you can see a blue icon with a B represents it's actually View Only. We actually have a Cloud icon to home Local cash, Existing models, Locked models, Shared models Out of Date models, Disconnected models and Model Builder and Sample models as you can see, you have several different types of models. So here we actually have a model, I can download it. That was created by a Model Builder. If I scroll down here's actually a BM 360 Cloud model. These are home Local cash models here for the Local house icon. A few more Cloud versions and at the bottom I have the sample models that I can download that was provided by Autodesk. When I scroll back to the top at the bottom left hand corner of each model you have three little icons. By your left click, I have an option to open the model, duplicate the model or delete the model. Now, at the very top is our Model Builder create New Model or Open a Model. The Model Builder allows you to create a new drawing. The New option allows you to create a fresh model from scratch where you're importing your own data just data to create the actual existing conditions. The open is allowing you to browse to a model. So for example, if we browse to our desktop data set let's say Site Planning, Exercise Files. For examples, here are all the three models I can access and open. I can minimize this actual tool bar as you can see, I can sort the models from date or by name or I can search for a model here. At the upper left hand corner is your user account. Here I can control my user profile, BM 360 Collaboration profile account, my application options and my log in, log out options. Also you have access to your BM 360 viewer. So here I can view a 3D model in BM 360, I can create a shared view for a 3D model and last but not least, you do have options if you do have a BM 360 account to view models based on office locations or project folders. So for example, if I change this to My Projects, this is the only models within that project folder inside your BM 360 account. Here I have an option for all models. I want to see all models underneath my account. So on the right under Preview, we have an option for Land Areas and Grading Behaviors that is a preview tool that was released on a update on your Autodesk desktop that is now incorporated into InfraWorks that you can take advantage of and actually use. So within the Home Dashboard, you can access all your models or create new models.
