Import Civil 3D into InfraWorks
- [Instructor] Just as you can take your InfraWorks model into Civil 3D, you can do the same with a Civil 3D model into InfraWorks. Let's see how we can do that. In this video we're going to start in AutoDesk Civil 3D 2019. We're going to see what we're importing first before we import and so I'm going to open up from my Quick Access toolbar and we're going to choose from the desktop exercise files>Ch10 and choose the 10_03_ImportC3D drawing file. Once I open it up, you'll see what we have in this drawing. We have an alignment, we have a profile, we have an assembly, as well as a corridor that's been built from that assembly. The corridor has a surface built from the finished grade of that drawing. So we're gonna go ahead and close this drawing down. Now that was just for us to confirm and take a look at. That coordinate system within the drawing is the same coordinate system we've been using in the last two videos, the Georgia West, and it lines up with our Chapter 10 model. So I'm…
