Importing a model into Twinmotion
- [Instructor] What we can do is we can import our FBX model into our scene graph. So what we're going to do is we're going to hit the Import button, and the import wizard will show up. You can either import Geometry or Landscape. We're going to use Geometry, and just navigate to our Beyond_Infraworks2021 development FBX file. So hit Open, and then expand the little options arrow. Now under Collapse, you have three options here. You can either keep the hierarchy, You can collapse by material, or you can collapse all. So which option you use depends a bit on what you want to do within Twinmotion with your particular FBX. So, collapse by material is the default option, It's the one that Twinmotion recommends. So it reduces the object count of the 3D model by collapsing objects into one single thing based on the material used. So it optimizes it for real time rendering. The second one is collapse all.
