- [Instructor] We've set up our web layers and our web map for use in our field application. Now it's time to go and get the application for our mobile device. I'm using a mirroring application to show you what's happening on my mobile phone as I do it, and I'm going to go and search for ArcGIS. I'm on Android, so I'm going to search for apps in Google Play, and the second one we see here is Collector for ArcGIS, so click on that, and install. Obviously if you are on iOS, then it might be a little bit different, but it's pretty much a straightforward app download. You have to allow access to identity, location, photos, and Bluetooth connection. Just hit Accept, and the app will install. Once the app is installed, click Open. You'll be prompted to sign into arcgis.com, so hit Continue and type in your username and password.
