Introduction to pedestrian mobility simulation
- [Instructor] Very often you are not going to want to exclusively model traffic. You may want to figure out how people are going to react in those situations, how a zebra crossing or a pelican crossing might affect your site. So that's what we're going to do now. We're still in the Triangular traffic simulation model and we're still in the single access working proposal. However, that doesn't really matter because what we're going to do is we're going to start off with the most super easy and basic simulation of people walking from one place to another in order to just get some of the terminology and the layers and processes that we'll need for the upcoming module. So don't even bother about zooming in to anywhere on the model, we're just going to go to transportation and instead of traffic simulation, we are going to choose mobility simulation.
