Line girder analysis
- [Instructor] In our last exercise, we learned how to modify piers and girders, no we're going to perform a girder analysis. The girder analysis will allow a structural engineer to analyze the design standards based on the type of bridge that was inputted or designed. In our previous exercise, we used the AASHTO standard bridge. We're going to come in, zoom into our bridge, select our bridge, so I'm actually selecting the side of the bridge, that way I don't have to click several times to get to the actual bridge. Notice here, I've got my bridge, there's my stat, I'm going to go into my intelligence tool, expand the bridge tool so, design, review, and engineer structures, and then select the analysis, perform analysis, and the design structure option, and then select line, girder, analysis.
