Manage a BIM 360 project: Accepting invites and switching accounts

- [Instructor] Now that the admin has created the Fort Worth project, we can start to administer it by creating a folder structure, by adding data, adding members, and giving them permissions. Now, remember that our collaboration scenario here is that the Sharkson admin creates a mirror of the NGO Fort Worth project and then creates a collaboration environment within the Sharkson BIM 360 account. So, what we're going to do here is she's going to make sure that she's got the folder hierarchy right and then she'll create that hierarchy again within the new Fort Worth project. Now, for those of you completing the exercises with the course data, you probably won't be doing this step unless you've sorted yourself out two trial accounts. But, you will be using the data that you unzipped to wherever. So C, Collaboration_Infraworks_2020_and_BIM360, the Fort Worth Project, the data that you have within there. That's what you're going to be uploading to the Fort Worth project. But for now, just follow along. So, before she goes any further, the admin wants to change from the Sharkson account to the NGO account and this is something that you can do if you are a member of more than one BIM 360 account. Not members of more than one BIM 360 project, but an account. So, if you go up to the left-hand corner here and click Select Change Account, then it'll show that this admin is admin of two sites, the NGO Expert and Sharkson. So, let's change to NGO Expert. So, there we can see, up at the top there, the BIM 360 account has changed. We can go to Fort Worth, we can go to Project Admin, and we can select Document Management but it's not there. Now what's gone wrong? So, we know that NGO admin added Sharkson admin as an account administrator. We know that she has a BIM Manager role. It's right here, so there you go. BIM Manager role, which means that she can administer the project, the insights, and the document management. So, why do we not have a Document Management icon here? And it is because, once again, the Sharkson admin hasn't read her email and she didn't accept the invitation to the Fort Worth project. So, what she need to do is head back over to her email and here is the email that she used to activate your BIM 360 account. Here is the invitation to NGO's Fort Worth project. So, she'll click on that and she will activate her membership. So, another tab has opened up. We have NGO Expert, Fort Worth, we have the admin account on the side over here. If she clicks on the Project Home, now we have Document Management available. So, click on Document Management and she will be able to make a note of the folder structure and the hierarchy in order to mirror it on the Sharkson BIM 360 account.
