Material group
- [Instructor] Material groups is a grouping of materials used for certain parts of a road section. For example, a pavement can have one material. The curbing can have a different material, sidewalk, greenspace, and any other kind of coverage or object that you can apply a material to. So if we go into our Materials Group by accessing the Styles Palette and browsing down to the Material Group tab, here's the actual default sets of Material Group. So this is actually for planning roads, it works a little different for component roads. Component roads is really individual parts. Assigning materials here, this is for grouping of plan roads. So I'ma make a copy of this Street Material here at the bottom. I'm going to select copy current set. And I'm just going to call this Test Material. (keys tapping) You're going to select it and click to edit. Feature button. And here, everything that is being used for that road…
