- When you're communicating with someone about your project, there will often be questions. One of the great things about InfraWorks is its ability to provide quick answers. In this video, you will learn how to provide answers by measuring your model in various ways. I've opened the Ch 07 Hotel Lynda model and selected the Chapter 7 Proposal. The next thing I want to do is adjust my units. I'll click the Setting and Utilities icon at the top of my screen. I'll then click Application Options. Next, I'll pick Unit Configuration and the first thing I want to check is that my units are set to Imperial. Then I'll check Length/Distance and I want to change that to Miles. I'll click OK. Now, when I measure the distances in my model they'll be reported in miles rather than feet. What I'm interested in looking at is the distance from our proposed hotel to the Rincon Point Tourist attraction. To see how far away the two points are, I can simply expand the InfraWorks toolbar, go to the Analyze…
