Navigating the model using the mouse

- One of the first skills you'll need to learn when working in InfraWorks is how to navigate a model. Let's take a look at how to navigate using the buttons on your mouse, probably the method you will use the most. To start this exercise, I've opened the Chapter 01 Hotel Lynda model. I've selected the Chapter 01 proposal. And I'm also going to press the home key on my keyboard to return to home view, just so that we're both starting in the same place. Now there are three major ways that you can navigate in your InfraWorks model. One is using the mouse, which we cover in this video. Another is using the ViewCube, and a third way is using Selection. So let's talk about how the mouse works. First of all, you can use the left mouse button to click and drag and orbit the model. If I click and drag forward, it rotates the model away from me.
