- [Instructor] When working with any types of roads or highways, setting the value and displaying the right of way is an important part of the design process. So with InfraWorks, there's two methods to adding a right of way to a road. One method is actually importing the line work as a GIS format. So, I can actually go into the Data Source panel, and import the line work through an SDF file, configure that data as a Right of Way, and overlay it over my coverage area, which I've done already here on the subdivision. The only problem with this workflow is you lose all the functionality of the Right of Way feature tool. The other method is to actual apply a right of way to a component road. So I'm going to convert this planned road into a component road. Right click and select Convert to Component Road. Here we go.
