Road grading
- [Instructor] In our last video, we just finished creating our first component road and being introduced to what makes a component road unique and special, and really adding those design elements to the road that we are placing in there. That takes it beyond the sketch, the schematic, and gives us more control, where we're designing right inside InfraWorks. But now it's time to grade our slopes or daylights off our roadway. We're going to see some of the controls that we have, we're going to make sure we're in the grading proposal, and you can identify our component road by choosing the bookmark and selecting the subdivision start bookmark. So we have our component road in, and we have the curb and gutter placed here, and we see even the grading showing up on both sides, the right and the left. The grading is controlled from the asset card for both the right side and the left side. You can control the grading method by choosing either fixed width, and it will have a variable slope…
