- [Instructor] The stack is basically the properties dialog box when selecting any kind of object within Civil 3D. So for example, if I select this component road, the stack appears. This is actually a stack which provides access to attributes related to that object, geometric data, any kind of additional data, so it's just creating our lifespan. If you have additional data you want to add like tags, or user data, tool tips, or hyperlinks to other websites or webpages, or company data, you can actually provide that for that specific data you just selected. For certain objects, you do have analysis tools at the bottom. So for example, for roads and bridges you can't perform additional tasks such as these cut, fill, quantity, earthwork, calculation tools.
