- [Instructor] The surface layer panel allows users to control the visibility of certain objects such as imagery roads and highways and terrain surfaces. So open the surface layer panel we'll go into the intelligence tool, we'll expand it then select the create and manage your model then select surface layers. In here I can turn off roads or highways and I'm actually going to turn off all the roads and highways, hit Apply. So as you can see now all I have is really left over coverage areas or any kind of terrain surfaces so it's a condensed down version of layer manager. So let's go look at our coverage areas, so if I came in here and turned everything off, and maybe I just want to see my terrain and my boundary for the site. Here and I hit Apply.
