- There really is no other program in the world quite like InfraWorks. And the InfraWorks model is probably like nothing you've ever seen before. Let's explore what an InfraWorks model is, what it's made up of, and what you should consider when creating a model. To get started, I want to point out that I've opened the Chapter 01 Hotel Lynda model. I'm also going to select the bookmark called Chapter 01, and I'll also press the Home key. This will ensure that you and I both start at the same place in the model with the same look. Now, we'll talk a lot in this series of videos about the purpose of InfraWorks. But I would have to say that its most powerful application is the rapid modeling and visualization of land development.
