User interface

- [Instructor] When you first open an InfraWorks model, at the very top a ribbon this is called a utility bar it provides quick access to collaboration tools, user accounts, visualization settings, bookmarks, and other features such as proposals. The icons at the upper left these are your intelligent tools these are going to be the most used tools throughout your model when you're designing, importing data, running analysis, as you can see we have several design tools for roads, bridges, drainage, engineering, visualization for creating videos and creating watermarks and snapshots. Your settings and utility options, this will allow you access to the application options. Regenerate your model, create thumbnails and have access to the model properties. On the upper left hand corner is your home button to go back to your home dashboard, I go back into my model here. At the very very top is your user account. In here you can access your user account profile, your BIM 360 account, your application options, and your options to login and logout. Right now you don't see a view cube, I actually have it turned off in the model but when you first open InfraWorks you'll notice a view cube just like in AutoCAD and Civil 3D so if I go into my settings, and turn it back on, here it is there's your view cube which provides 3D access navigation for your 3D model. As you can see I can rotate it and the view cube is rotating. So these are your main tools when working in InfraWorks. Your utility bar, your intelligence tools, user account, your view cube and also your settings buttons here under labels, your tools and hiding your labels how they're displayed.
