Using the exercise files

- [Instructor] There are a number of files and folders associated with this course and if you want to follow along using the same data as I am, then you can download the compressed folder called Collaboration Infraworks 2020 and BIM 360 and stick it on your C drive. Within there, there are two folders one called Fort Worth Project Files, now this is the hierarchy you're going to be uploading to your BIM 360 account. The second is additional data and this contains models that you're going to be uploading, it contains InfraWork assets, it contains just a couple of little useful JPEGs as well. Within the replacement copies of Fort Worth Texas models are three folders and these are snapshots of the model at certain points in time. So the first one is for the first upload to BIM 360, the second one is with development proposal and there are issues with the development proposal. The third one is the finished product with the development proposal and fixed issues. If you don't want to follow all the exercises, then you can jump in at one of these points, it'll be pretty obvious where you are. The reason I've called these replacement copies of Fort Worth Texas models is that you may want to repeat a step or try another way of doing things and this is a way of getting a fresh start, so keep these separate from the models that you use and then just copy and unzip when you want a fresh restart. I've structured this course using trial accounts, so you can be certain of being able to complete the course even if you don't yet have access to BIM 360 or if you simply don't want to hog your organization's BIM 360 and apply lots of random changes because those changes will be on the system forever. In this scenario that we're working with now, and we'll talk about that later on, I have four users, which means four Autodesk IDs and four emails. Now I'd recommend using at least two for this course, so you can switch between them to see what happens when models or data are changed or how markups and issues are handled. So to reiterate, you'll need at least two Autodesk IDs and email accounts with them. When I talk about Sharkison, that's your BIM 360 account. So my BIM 360 account is called Sharkison, yours will be called something else. When I talk about Sharkison admin, that's your account admin and then when it comes to the users, when I talk about Dave, that's your user one, so he's not the admin, but he is the first user. If you're going to use a second user like I have, then that's the guy I called Digby. So when I talk about Digby, that's your user two. Now obviously things will not be exactly as they appear on my videos because they can't. You can only have one Sharkison BIM 360 account, you can only have one user at sharkison.com or whatever it is, so please don't try and copy this verbatim, use what I'm doing here as a template to set up your BIM 360 account.
