Work with clearance envelopes
- [Instructor] Bridges very often need to have a set space underneath them. Whether for trucks on a road or ships or boats on a river. This is called the clearance envelope and it can be automatically analyzed within InfraWorks. Right now we're working on bridge design for InfraWorks 2021 model six, bridge design proposal seven. So make sure you're on that one. From the bookmarks, head over to Bridgeview 22, and here we have our two bridges. So we have the northbound span and we have the southbound span. Just zoom around and have a look at the southbound span. Select the southbound span. And you'll notice here that we have a little purple envelope. Now, that is because we have switched on show envelope in the model. So from the bridge stack, we've got type geometry, clearance envelope.
