Work with girders
- [Instructor] We have modified the abutments, now let's have look at the girders. So, still within the same model, model two, bridge design four, zoom to bridge view 16. And make sure that the bridge is selected. So, here we have the bridge selected. Now, right click and as I showed you before use the drop down next to the component display to uncheck the road and deck boxes. And the girders and the substructure will be easier to see. Note that if you deselect the bridge, so if I select away from the bridge, the road will show up as normal. But, as soon as it's reselected the component views that you chose are restored. And this is something that is worth remembering if you're sharing models, or you're sharing views with people. This is persistent, so if you create a new proposal from this particular one, these component views will persist in the new proposal. Let's change the number of girders to reflect the real world bridge. Click on a girder group to select a group. Here we have…
