- There are important settings in InfraWorks that help you balance the performance, size and visual quality of your model. Let's take a look at the model generation settings and how to leverage them to get the best possible experience. I've opened the chapter six Hotel Lynda model, and I've set the chapter six proposal as the current one. The next thing I want to do is set my application options to their default settings. To do that, I'll click the Settings and Utilities icon and then click Application Options in the toolbars that appear. I'll click Restore Defaults, and then OK. And then as a final step, I also want to click Regenerate. So this will set all of our visual settings to their defaults, regenerate the model, so that you and I start with the same settings. So let's explore some of the model generation settings in the Application Options command. I'll click Application Options once again, and this time pick Model Generation on the left.
