Working with component road assemblies
- [Instructor] We've added a component road to our site. We've added components to that component road, and now we can start using sections of this component road in order to create assemblies for future use. Before we do that, I'm just going to select my road. I'm going to tilt it down so that I only see the horizontal in canvas annotations and right click. One of the many things that separates component roads from planning roads are different views. So we have profile views and we have cross section views. Now with a component road selected like we have here, right click, the context menu will come up. What you can do is hit show station in cross section view. The road cross section will come up at that particular place in your road. Notice this little orange slicer. You can pull it along the road and see how the road cross section changes. This is the station along the road. You can either hit plus or minus up here.…
