- [Instructor] This course comes with a number of exercise files in a zipped format. Now to avoid any model corruption that may occur with Windows compression, they are in a 7-Zip format. You will need 7-Zip to unzip this archive. It's available from 7-zip.org and it's free. So all you have to do is install it and then unpack the archive to a local folder. I recommend doing the desktop as I've done here. You'll see that we have a number of files here. I do not recommend trying to unzip it to a network folder or a cloud drive as long pathways may throw up some errors and you'll end up with a corruption error. This course was recorded in December of 2020 when the latest version available for InfraWorks was 2021.1. Now you may be taking this course in March of 2021 or even March of 2022, and as such, you'll be using a newer version of InfraWorks. So to avoid a confusion, the earliest version you can use with these exercise files is InfraWorks 2021.1. If you are using a newer version, simply navigate to the models as instructed within the files and grab one of the folders, the SQLite databases, open it up and you'll be prompted to upgrade the model. That means once that's happened, you'll be ready to go.
