- This course comes with a number of exercise files in a zipped format. For this particular course, it's InfraWorks 2021 _Bridge_Design. Now, to avoid model corruption that may occur with Windows compression, we have used a 7-Zip format. So you will need 7-Zip to unzip these archives, and 7-Zip is available at 7-zip.org. It's free. All you have to do is install it and then simply unzip the folder. So InfraWorks 2021_Bridge_Design.7z, or 7-Z depending on where you are, and unzip it to a local folder. I recommend using your desktop. Don't try to unzip it to a network folder or a remote drive, as long path names can throw up errors, which would give you corrupted models. This course was recorded in September of 2020 when the latest version available was InfraWorks 2021.0. You may be taking this course in March of 2021, or even March of 2022, and as such, you'll be using a later version of InfraWorks. So to avoid confusion, the earliest version you can use with these exercise files is InfraWorks 2021.0. If you're using a newer version, simply grab the model like it says in the exercise files and upgrade it. You'll be good to go.
