Working with storyboards
- A storyboard is used to create a guided tour through your model. Let's explore how to create a simple storyboard that showcases the proposed hotel development. I've opened the Chapter 06 Hotel Lynda model, and I've selected the Chapter 06 proposal. To get started with this video, I want to be on the Rincon Point bookmark. What we'd like to do is give someone looking at the model kind of a guided tour of how we want them to see the model. How we want them to progress through navigating the model. In InfraWorks, that's called a storyboard. I'll start by clicking the Presentation icon, and then clicking Storyboard Creator. That opens a panel near the bottom of my screen that I can create and modify a storyboard. To create a new storyboard, I'll click this icon here with the green plus sign, and give my storyboard a name. Let's call this "Hotel Tour." I can also expand this window up a bit so I can see a little better what's going on inside this panel. There are lots of different things…
