Post a photo from your camera roll
- In addition to you shooting photos directly within Instagram, you can also post photos you previously shot and have stored on your phone or tablet's camera roll or photos app. In fact, sometimes even if you're shooting a photo on the spot you might want to shoot with your device's camera app instead of Instagram. One of the limitations of shooting within Instagram is that it only captures square images which you might be okay with in many cases. But if you want the option of having a full screen image of your photo and to be able to crop it square or leave it as a rectangle when you post it, you'll want to shoot with your device's camera app and then import the photo into Instagram. So, I already have several photos in my phone's camera roll. To post one of them to my feed, I again, tap the add button here at the top of the Instagram home screen. And this again takes me to my camera roll with the most current photo…
