- [Instructor] As you've probably noticed, Instagram is different from other social media platforms in a couple of ways. Unlike, say Twitter, where you can retweet someone else's post to your followers or Facebook where you can share someone else's post to your friends, there's no way in Instagram to share someone else's photos or videos to your own feed. And that's definitely by design. Instagram prefers that you only share photos and videos that you yourself shot or own. Now we've seen that you can share any photo you come across with specific people by tapping the share button below the photo, which is that little paper airplane icon, and then you can select someone you follow by typing in a username to the search field or just by selecting their name.
