- [Instructor] The final hole type we want to look at is a threaded hole. We can do that by rotating to the back of this model and we're going to place a hole back here. If you've been following along you can probably just build off the model you've been using over the last couple of movies but if you need to start or catch up, I've created Threaded Hole Start.ipt to begin from. To start, we need to go ahead and create a sketch this time. As I mentioned earlier, you can use sketches and let Inventor create them for you or in this case we're going to create a sketch ahead of time that has a specific point where we want to place this hole. To do that, we can right click in the Graphics window and select new sketch. We'll go ahead and select this back face and we'll zoom in just a little bit by scrolling our wheel on our mouse and now we're ready to create some geometry.
