- [Instructor] We're now ready to look at splines. Splines are a little more advanced than a basic line in the fact that you can use a number of points in a control frame to control the curvature of this line, rather than being a straight connection between two points. On the screen, you can see the basic computer mouse that we're going to be creating. And if you haven't watched the rectangle and arcs movie yet, I recommend you do that now, because it'll show how we got to this point. What I've done is I've created a computer mouse start.ipt file that we can use to jump forward a little bit. Again, if you want to learn how we got to this point, please check out the rectangle in arcs movie. To begin now, we need a new sketch to create geometry. We can do that by going to the 3D model tab under sketch, and selecting start 2D sketch, or we can right click in the graphics window and do the same. Once we do that, we can select the…
