- So all of the examples that we've seen so far of potential applications of data science lead us to a very important point. Now, before I get to exactly what that point is, I want to ask all of you a series of questions. So how many of you have a rewards card with a supermarket or retail store? Right, a card that you put in the number and you get some sort of discount off of whatever it is you're buying, or you collect reward points or something like that.
