- [Illustrator] Once you've configured GitHub in your IntelliJ IDEA installation, you can create a repository directly from within IDEA, and upload it to GitHub. I'm starting with a fresh project that I've named "GitHub Project." And if you're following along, you can start with any new project. I've also configured GitHub in my software, and now I can go to the menu and choose VCs, import into version control, share project on GitHub. First, you'll see a dialogue indicating that you're being authenticated. And once that goes by, you'll come to this share project on GitHub dialogue. I'm going to expand this so I can see the whole thing. There are just a couple of options here. First of all, each GitHub project can either be public or private.
