- This course is the second part in a series on the basics of concurrent and parallel programming. So if you haven't watched the first part yet we encourage you to start there because we will be building on it with this course. The videos of us working in the kitchen will demonstrate key concepts in general terms and then in the Java code examples I'll explain the unique terminology and nuances that make Java different than other programming languages. - If you're interested in concurrent and parallel programming in other languages be on the lookout for different versions of this course. You'll find the same general concept videos, but we'll show you the example code in another programming language.
